Dyfed Powys Police and Police Authority have launched a recruitment drive for specialist advisors to sit on an Independent Advisory Group (IAG) which will offer advice and guidance to the two organisations. Advisors will offer individual and independent advice, rather than the views of groups or bodies. We are looking for membership of the IAG to be broadly representative of the diverse communities we serve, in terms of age, disability, gender and gender identity, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation and the Welsh language.
We are looking for people who are open-minded, willing to engage and exchange frank views and those who want to help us deliver a better, fair and equal service to all residents in Dyfed Powys.
The IAG will meet quarterly and will work to an agreed work plan, with priorities being set by both Dyfed Powys Police and Dyfed Powys Police Authority.
